I guess this video was leaked very recent. It shows a US army apache helicopter shooting at civilians in Baghdad in 07. They were mistaken for insurgents. The casualties were all civilians, including two Reuter's journalists, two young children among others. This is acctually big news in Sweden where the news say that Reuters tried t to get the video released but US mil refused... transcripts "reveal" that the two Reuters journalists were shot on purpose and that one of them were chased down up on a curb and repeatedly shot, and that a van that came to their rescue was shot at also - it had kids in it, which according to transcripts, the soliders were commenting on, but pretty much with a "bringing kids suite yourself". (edit, I didnt make it very clear) When you read it, it is insinuating that the soldiers knew what they were doing but - whether that is true remains to be seen. I take the stand of a misstaken identity for now....
Clearly crime was commited here do you see how trigger happy they are ? They were pressuring their commanders to give them the permission to kill innocent children and media people lying about weapons that were just cameras. This type of atrocities never made it to the media in 2007 becuase of the cover up by BUSH the criminal and Chaney, so what do we expect after the last U.S soldier leaves iraq ? I think we will see lot worse than this perhaps American soldiers raping helpless iraqi children.
I got a buddy in Afganistan and he tells me its pretty intense because the problem is the enemy where's plain clothes so you can never tell who has a weapon. You guys should watch the Hurt Locker. Great movie, it won the Oscar this year.
