If you were to contact someone (or be contacted), which would you rather, a cold call or a cold email... and why?

Personally, I think each has their time and place, but curious to see what y'all think. :)

Cold calls because i be bored like to entertain people while they work. One guy from india who was doing this scam where they call your home claiming to be a microsoft rep and tells you you have a virus on your computer so download their software which is a computer hack, i called him out on his bullshit made conversation n now he calls me here n there to bullshit at work.

The number that called you was 222-555-7777.

Yeah, that fucker came from West Africa, since that number is traced in Mauritania.

What if you're making calls through an interpreter, so you have no idea what kind of tone they're using or if they're understandable? :p
(Or, if you got a call, "Hi, my name's Nicole Marsh and I'm calling on behalf of...." in a male's voice? :p )

I usually start with an email and then followup with a call.
