CNN had a special on race and kids

CNN had a special on Black kids. They patterned a test on black kids that was similar to the one about black kids and dolls that was done about 40 years ago.

back then the kids viewed the white dolls more favorable then the black dolls.

the black kids looked at drawings and stated the black kids were the , ugly kids , bad kids and the dumb kids while the white kids were the smart, good looking and well mannered.

there was a biracial child in the group who stated he wanted to have white skin. the older brother was about 14 stated it would be easier because he is called nigger alot. the mother (WW) stated she did not know what to do because she was not black so she deferred to her exhusband (they have a good relationship) and he explained to the boys how to handle.

(not pooping my color but I was in the ball park with another thread on making a connection on every level thread.)

anyway what would you do if you were in their situation when you viewed your child and your child answered like those kids did ?

by the way the white kids also answered the same way the black kids did in reference to the black drawings of the black kids.

 

Yeah I saw that, one of the White Mothers was mortified but that just proves its systemic and like Paul Street says we're up to Level 2 Racism, the stuff much harder to prove and harder to see.
