I'm very convinced that the President has further propelled this since his position on same-sex marriage has evolved. Because of this, there are more people and more states adamant on pushing this further. Granted, the social changes are always an inevitable outcome in the name of progress and time, but it does take a select few with grand influence to further push it faster.

Plus, we're a more educated, tolerant (and more accepting) generation and will continue to do so for decades to come. Love is love.
