I believe that all "Christian denominations" are to some degree wrong and they are to some degree right, it is our wrongness that we find ballance however, because one denomination has seen a certain truth and is practicing it, they may very well go overboard and not keep a ballance, but if they do not show the truth in a bit of extreem many of us who have not seen it may not ever see it.

Example the Catholic Church venerates Mary far more than other Christian chruches, but other Christian Chruches would do well to learn from the Catholics an study her life more and learn of it.

A penticostal church may teach the "move the of the Holy Spirit" to an extreem but other churches would do well to learn from them and learn to be led by the Holy Spirit more in their lives.

So to answer your question, no, it does not bother me, I try to learn from them all, yet I ballance it ALWAYS by double checking the Scripture, and finding what I see as the proper ballance. If anyone can show me in Scripture that I have a view that is out of ballance I am willing to take a second look at it, just don't try to show me that from some other book. Because I have CHOSEN to live my life according to Scripture.

    Agreed.

The various denominations are man's own spin on one religion, complete with various practices and traditions but ultimately the goal is to worship the same God, Lord and Savior. I think Christians should have a permanent church home but should also (several times annually) visit churches of other denominations and see how they worship. As a Baptist, I'd like to visit a Pentecostal, Catholic, Orthodox, Presbyterian, Methodist, Anglican etc. church whenever I've gett the opportunity.

I had not thought of it as something we aught to do, but I think you are right, I have had the opportunity to do just that, and my spiritual life has been enriched because of it. The most important thing though is that we study the Word for ourselves, otherwise it would be very confusing for a person to visit all the other denominations.

We need to learn not to throw out the baby with the bath water.
