Well the rules are the rules, he'll have to try again to see if he can convince them that his urge to beat women has passed.
Francie your sharp tongue and wit has been missed around here. I did see a news item about this here in our press. They referred to his apology on his Twitter: "SORRY to all the fans in Europe! My tour is cancelled,” Brown wrote on his Twitter page Monday, June 7. "I'm pretty sure y'all know. My entry was denied in your country. I love you. SORRY!!" It was kind of confusing to read though since Europe isn't a country. He is cancelling all of Europe becaus he was denied entry in UK??
Other celebs who have had their visa turned down: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment_and_arts/10264270.stm
LOL don't remind me, I was meant to go see him in Glasgow tomorrow. Soooo annoyed. Sorry but they let terrorists in the country but somehow Breezy is a 'threat'? Whatever.
Hmm maybe it's 'cause Rihanna is in the UK right now too. I'm sure it'll be sorted eventually. I don't condone what he did but fuck I wanna see him live!
Trouble is we don't let terrorists in, i'm sure if they stated there occupation as terrorist on the visa application we would say no to them too lol. But I think it's right that as a nation we shouldn't let Violent criminals in, whether to what degree is neither here nor there, it's not a new thing if you have been involved in Vilolent crime and the home office become aware or made aware you are refused entry into the UK, so I don't see what the issue is, i'd have a bigger issue if he had been allowed in straightaway bypassing normal immigration/border control just because he's a pop star.
You know you're 100% right Francie I'm just emotional 'cause I was excited pluuussss I'm losing out on money which always sucks. I do think it's good that we don't let violent offenders in though. The management or promoters or whoever shoulda applied for the visa before booking the tour though.
Ohh thats really crap, how the fuck can they charge you for a ticket to a concert that is not going to happen, if you have paid for a service and it's not supplied you can claim the money back, unless they are offering an alternative date, which they cannot right now they are simply not allowed to do that. http://www.wheresmyrefund.co.uk/event-ticket-getting-refund.html
Basically they said I have to go to the next show, which would be fine but I doubt the Home Office will change their mind soon. So we're just told to keep our ticket. It is crap! Argh.
