I'd rather be on top of Kate Winslet than Kate Moss..

Bones jutting out from the spine and pelvis don't look healthy to me..

    Bones look like death..

These days in America it's like fat girls are normal or "real", normal is "too skinny," or "skinny bitch," and skinny is "anorexic."

Everyone has their preferences, turn on's, turn off's. It seems many/most BM don't mind bigger women in general. For me, I just can't take the jiggle. It's a turn off for sure, and NOT what's most pleasing to my eyes. I tried to hang out with a woman who had a little extra, and one of her cats was standing on her stomach, walking on her rolls, making them indent, as the cat played on her tummy. I was immediately turned off, it was over. Same thing happened as I was driving with another gal, I looked over at her, and saw her tummy jiggling with the motion of the automobile, once again, it ended it. Can't help that, I must only be with thinner type women who don't jiggle.

    most definitely..

I try to stay in shape, and it would be a plus if my counterpart did the same.. I would have a workout partner, finally. I used to be turned off by women with guts

I wonder who are the people who set the standard of fashion? Back in the day the Twiggy look started the craze of pick-up stick bodies which now gotten much worse. They are blind as bats.

Funniest post ever. I personally would have been turned off more by her cat than her rolls, though.

Couldn't agree more! Nothing is more sexier to me than a voluptuous ww. I get tired of seeing all the skinny women as models; some of us guys like women with some meat on their bones! :D

    Amen,

But Petty, what has made you change, so as to no longer make you turned off on "women with guts"?

Before I get flamed by any of the ladies on here, let me point out that I do find plus sized women to be very attractive, as long as they are in good enough shape not to have a loose tummy. I stay healthy, and healthy looking, and expect the same from my gal. The 6 cats in her apt were definitely a turn off too.

    I'D. BREAK. HER. BAAAACKKK!!!! :smt033

I completely agree with that entire statement! I think more women should be appreciated for their beauty than just the below 120 pound crowd. I am definitely not 120 pounds but I am HEALTHY. I am not saying thin women are unhealthy but I would have to starve myself if I wanted to be that size. Women like Tyra and Kate Winslet and Chloe Marshall ARE the norm, and they're very beautiful women.

Actually Tyra banks ect. are not the norm, they weigh less than the norm. Go to the CDC website and check on the stats there, 65% of americans are overweight or obese, this is a big, pardon the pun, problem for everyone as Malik has already pointed out with the links in his post. The "average" person in this country is overweight or obese, those who are physically fit are "real" they are just not "average". I believe most men find the Kate Winslets, Marilyn Monroes, ect. to be very attractive women, even with their curves, however there is a big difference between them and what Monique and the NAAFA (national association for the advancement of fat acceptance) crowd are trying to dupe the American public into thinking about what is healthy and what is not.

i think what people fail to realize is that there is such a difference between being thick/healthy and being totally obese. obesity IS a huge problem in our society today...i'm definitely not arguing that fact...and anorexia/bulomia is probably a bigger problem than most want to acknowledge. i must say though, that just b/c a woman has some meat on her bones, doesn't mean that she should be looked down upon as unhealthy, fat, or repulsive. i know everyone has different tastes in what they are attracted too...i just wish men in general wouldn't get so freaked out by the term "plus-size". alot of the problem with this term lies in the fact, that alot of really large/fat/obese women claim to be "plus-size", when they are not. just b/c a woman doesn't have a washboard stomach, does not, by any means, make her unhealthy or a fatty. every woman who works out and exercises isn't going to have janet jackson abs. i could work out 3 hours a day, 7 days a week...and i would never be a size 6 - my bone structure wouldn't allow that. but i am not fat, i am healthy. i have curves, i take care of myself. people should just accept beauty for beauty, and not put a sized tag on it.

The reason why everyone is so thin in the modeling business is because gay men dominate the business and they like to see their women as "young boys" with no curves, hips whatsoever.

Real men like their women curvy. A little flab is perfect. Don't get anorexic because of this silly image.

i always wondered why models were so damn thin and unshapely..

    freakin rediculous

Sorry, but that's a silly statement!

Some guys just prefer less, rather than more. You sound like you're sucking up for brownie points, or something, because real men like women. That's the only criteria. Must like women! Period, end of story.

So I'm not a "real man" for preferring the top model over the bottom one?
