Does anybody know what exactly "chiseled features" are?Does it refer to the bone structure in the face or something?Ive always heard the terminology "chiseled" when people were referring to white men

Well-defined features, as opposed to a pancake face. Of any race.

I think they mean a lean face that shows the bone structure, a sharp nose and a square jaw. This could be a muscular face also. I think Native American men have "chiseled" features. This is a rather hard look. Personally I don't care for it, but I know some good men who sport it.

A "baby face" would be a rounder face, with a higher percentage of fat, with a more childish look of innocence in the face. That would be the opposite.

I think black men who are muscular have "chiseled" bodies, but their faces tend more toward the "baby face". That's what makes you all so irresistible. ;)

That's my take on it. Did I just call you all "baby faced"? Please don't take it wrong, it's meant as a complement.

It mostly lies in the jaw line and cheek bones. If it's sharp and angular, the features are described as chiseled.

I.E., as if chiseled out of stone

The first guy maybe, the second and third are not chiseled. They look too gentle.

The first one here looks too young and soft to be chiseled IMO.

I'd say he's mildly chiseled, but mostly I was just too lazy to find a pic of the second guy by himself. *L* I just picked the first one on google that had a good example in it. It's been a long day of class, I'm far too lazy to do any deep digging ;)

I agree, and you'll notice I didn't do any digging myself.

    Chiseled - Rocky
    Not Chiseled - Huckabee

That about says it, neither one is atractive although I would prefer Huckabee of Rocky anyday personally.

If you are looking for chizled features, it is best to look in athletes/bodybuilders as they have low body fat and high testosterone. Both will give you a chisled look.

    Also think comic book look...

I don't think any of the black men in the last few post show chiseled features. To me that means more muscular, and a hardness about the face. It's like the face was "chiseled" out of stone, and you can still see the tool marks. I'll search the internet for a black man with such a face. If it exists.

I think black men have softer faces, they are more approachable, they have a gentler look on their faces. It's hard to describe.

His body, yes, his face, not so much. I'll keep looking, that's just my opinion. I personally don't like the chiseled look. So I can't think off hand who to refer someone to for the look I think of as chiseled.
