Chinese companies renting white foreigners

Came across this story the other day. Apparently in China companies that need to look more prestigious and wealthy are hiring fake employees. The belief in China is if you have foreigners working for your company in particular white ones it makes your business more attractive and credible.

On online radio ( http://www.npr.org ) and feel it to be every bit as asinine as it sounds.....

But, when dealing with xenophobic foreign societies & cultures, that's life in the big leagues, I guess..

Kinda expected someone like Chuck ("News Of The Weird") Shepherd to do a piece on this'n, IMO...
