    "
Video published Friday shows Kansas City Chiefs star running back Kareem Hunt getting into a physical altercation with a woman in which he shoves her, charges at her and kicks her in the hallway of a Cleveland apartment building.

Hunt was released by the Chiefs later on Friday, with team saying the player "was not truthful" in discussions about the incident.

The incident took place Feb. 10, according to police reports obtained by USA TODAY Sports. The video, published by TMZ, appears to be security footage from inside the apartment building. Hunt was not charged.

Hunt can be seen approaching the woman and engaging in a verbal argument before shoving her back with his right hand. Another man tries to restrain Hunt, while the woman approaches him and swats at Hunt’s face, making contact."

What is missing from media outlets and news stations and made a foot note that has been glossed over is that the woman name Abigail Ottinger hit another female at his hotel and was berating, racially harrassing Kareem by repeatedly calling him a n*gger. Just like witnesses at the hotel reported to the police. He reacted to that physically.

What I don't like is the way it is reported and the way people are trashing him and comparing him to Ray Rice and others calling him a scumbag and just completely villifying him all the while protecting and sympathizing with this racist woman. His actions to someone calling him a racist to shove her is a mistake and a reaction to being called the n-word. She spit in his face afterwards and slapped him which is why he continued to go after her obviously still at his boiling point from being racially harassed by this bigot for 30 minutes.

He lost his cool is how it should be seen that way, but because of the way this racist MSM, and ignorant "journalist" reported it and how people glossed over HER racist behavior and actions he is now seen as a domestic abusive monster and among other things they are calling him. Smh.

I gotta ignore the comments to this story on social media/comment sections/forums. People with their agendas trying to use this story to scare BM from WW.

The media is playing their role in it by ignoring witness statements to the police about HER behavior and racial harassment. They're basically making it big angry black man beats up on poor innocent woman. And whoever is writing this story over at TMZ is upping it showing their disdain of bm/ww couplings. A few online are recognizing that... glad we're not the only ones that see the play here.

^^ Kind of new he was going to be PC and not mention her calling him the n-word, but he did allude to it when he said "Things were said that I did not like.".

She seems like a piece of work but he gotta keep his cool. Period. There are folks filming white people saying derogatory thing to people of color and uploading the footage to social media. But those folks didn't lose their shit making themselves look bad in the process. He had more to lose than her and, duh, that's what happened.

Didn't the same thing happen to a college football player last year?

This dude is probably done in the league. The NFL got spooked by the media backlash to the Ray Rice incident and is overcompensating by giving the harshest possible punishment to anybody accused of DV. Look at how they tried to fuck Ezekiel Elliott after the league's own investigator concluded that his accuser was lying.

On another note, high-profile brothers need to step their games up and not hang out disgusting guttersnipes just because they're easy. This is what you got for associating with trash.

^^ I don't think so once things become more clear like for one this isn't a case of DV. Two her racist behavior is still something that mainstream media is sweeping under the rug, but as cops begin to investigate, more of HER behavior will come to light.

I saw this tweet praising FS1's Shannon Sharpe for defending Kareem Hunt & criticizing ESPN's Stephen A. Smith for being a coward not willing to defend him:

I think this unfair criticism because the last time SAS defended a black athlete involved in a domestic violence controversy, 1 of his female co-workers (Michelle Beadle) went on Twitter & cried victimhood, the ENTIRE sports media on social media sided with her & went in on SAS, & he ended up getting suspended and having to apologize on TV. I don't blame SAS for wanting to avoid another controversey like that.
