    What is a Chakra Exactly?
Chakras are our energy centers. They are the openings for life energy to flow into and out of our aura. Their function is to vitalize the physical body and to bring about the development of our self-consciousness. They are associated with our physical, mental and emotional interactions.

    What Do Chakras Look Like?
Chakras have been depicted as a funnel of sorts with smaller funnels within the funnel. They are also often referred to as looking like lotus flowers. I have intuitively viewed the intake of individual chakras as appearing similar to the blades of a fan or windmill in circular motion.

    Introducing the Seven Major Chakras
In the next seven features we will be focusing on each individual chakra. We will talk about the colors associated with each chakra, learn the physical location of them, explore what purposes they serve, discover which physical dysfunction's are associated with each chakra, learn what types of information is stored in each of the chakras, etc. This should prove to be an educational and enjoyable journey.

Hey Britty, can you help me out. If you're into all this Eastern stuff (and I'm not...)

could you suggest a good website about KUNDALINI energy release exercises? (Someone suggested it to me) I tried to research it myself but all the websites I find have all this complicated information that I'm not interested in reading for hours. I want something very simple and basic.

    Thanks if you can help.

    http://www.crystalinks.com/kundalini.html
I know that's a lot to read too, but sometimes there's no getting around it. If you want to scroll down though, there's a Kundalini Meditation.
There's this too: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kundalini which isn't really that much to read. Is there a specific reason that someone suggested it to you?

http://www.kundalini.se/eng/engkni.html I'm also giving you this website because it talks about risks/problems associated with Kundalini. There's also a lot of links on the left for you to explore.

Hope this helps (let me know). Good luck! :)
