When all you have is a theory u dont have much of a case. The defense had a theory as well and the prosecution could not disprove that theory. Yes it might have been absurd but every bit as plausable. Did she have something to do with it...probably but like OJ they had to prove it and they didn't. Partying, taking pictures while having a great time, and lack of reporting her missing daughter don't prove she murdered her...stupid maybe but not a murderer in the court’s eye.

We are going to have to wait until the jury comes out and present their statement on why they chose not guilty for the murder charges.

I got a feeling a small group of the jury felt she was guilty, but they may have been pressured into agreeing to a guilty vote.

That's common in these type of trials. You need a strong minded person to stand up to the mass' to prove their point. Thats why the classic story "12 Angry Men" is such a great story/movie.

 

They didn't present their statements at all. They had the opportunity to do that today after the ruling, but they all were on a bus already going back home.

 

I said we are going to have to wait until they give their statement. The jury has been sequested for over 6 weeks with no contact with family and friends. They just want to get the fuck out of there before going public.

Big profile jury cases, the jury's usually hold out a few days before going public. It happened with the OJ trail and the Rodney King trail with the jury holding out for a few days before going public.

Jury's usually want to pick and choose what network to go on for the statement. Lets hope they dont go on FOX News or Nancy Grace.

Hmmm, I think there's a law in Florida where they can opt out to not speak on it at all. I don't recall. I don't keep too close to Florida laws.

 

A hispanic ex-con was convicted for the murder of Shondra Levy,( the congressional intern who was murdered in 2001) with even less evidence, the jailhouse allegation of his cellmate that he supposedly admitted attacking Levy was all it took to get him convicted.


Absolutely no proof whatsoever and that Hispanic dude is in jail for 20 +.

This bitch has been lying since day One about the whereabouts of her kid, and she gets to walk and breathe free air on Thursday.

dare i say that if casey anthony was a bw she would have gotten the dealth penalty...it's a sad day when a child can go missing for an extended period of time...decomposing to a point that the cause of death can not be determined...then the mother gets off...the laws need to be reviewed...an accident must be reported immediately...if the accident is not reported immediately then you will automatically be charged with murder...

Another thing to consider is that the jury was aware that this was a high profile case.

We are in a deep Recession, people are broke and I doubt there was 12 multi-millionares on that jury.

Jury pay aint worth shit.....it would not surprise me if they made the mad rush home to get agents to secure them with a 7 figure deal for exclusive rights to the story.

This is America. Every body has a price.
