July 25, 2006 -- CARMEN Electra seemed to be enjoying her newly single status with Jamie Foxx the other night. The duo arrived together at Hollywood hot spot Element to catch a "surprise" performance by Gnarls Barkley. "Jamie's arm was around Carmen more than once and whispers were exchanged several times," tattles our spy. "No one saw them kissing, but they left together out the back. It seemed like they were out on a date." Electra, who was not wearing her wedding ring, announced her separation from hubby Dave Navarro last week.

Funny, with Dennis Rodman situation aside, I would figure she would be the last white woman to be seen with a black man. It's refreshing to read about.

 

Obviously, you don't know Carmen's history. She's been down with the brown from 'day one'. She's rolled with more brothas than any white woman in showbiz -- that's a fact!

Your right Kid, I didn't know because the media hid her history with black men well . . . also I wasn't really looking. If you go by her acting in "Bay Watch" you would never know. Now that acting roles are hard to find she can come "out of the closet" so to speak.

 

I've always known about Carmen's low-key affinity for BM. I'm glad to hear she's still interested in dating BM. I can't believe she's single. I thought she'd be w/ Dave for much longer.

Of course, Kid. I've watched this program about her that says she dated many black men in high school and as usual, received a lot of flack for it. Isn't it funny that white men irrefutably find this woman hot, as well as Pamela Anderson, but the minute stories about them being linked to black men came out, they all of a sudden become "whores". :lol: Goodness gracious.

Oh and by the way, i once heard Ray J slept with Pamela Anderson. Thats why i mentioned her by the way.

Maybe it is but i do really believe it is a male patriarchal trait. I however understand where you are coming from. In this paternalistic, undoubtedly white-controlled capitalistic society of ours; the three most important things to us are money, property and power. In essence, when you have the first one(money), the latter is secondary. You will no doubt have them. In the U.S.A whereby money is considered the sole purpose of existence, men earn the most and to be precise, white men earn the most. White men have all the productive corporate industries or at least control them. White men control the infrastructures on which the economical pivot is rolling. With the money already obtain, the have the property which have just been mentioned and thereby leads to their power as the respected figures of authority and as some of our folks call it; THE MAN. :lol: Rather hilarious term but there we go.

If there is any thing women, at least here in the United States are attracted to the most despite what they might say, it is money, power, authority(actually that fits in with power but mehh..) as well as respect. unless you have been reading history books and artifacts written by someone who has been either hallucinating or using some hard crack cocaine, those things have been possessed by white men, and will continue to be possessed by white men for a long time. Therefore, to white men, the sky is the limit. Seeing as the have every means of sustaining a glory-filled life, nothing could be bad for them. They have all the money, the power and want one more thing that comes with all those; women. You see, because society has been patriarchal for a very long time, women have been considered as "assets", "property" and "subjective". In large parts of Europe, until the 19th century, a woman could not desert her husband no matter what he might have done and that has only started to change in the last 60 years or so. However, the main core of that exploitation and sexist mentality still prevails here in America. Women are still subjective to the auhtority of men and since our society is largely controlled by white males, that subjective thinking is seen as normal since they are the very ones perpetuating such behavior.

So for a women, especially if she is white, to seek out a black male or any other non-white male for that matter, whether consciously or unconsciously, it gives white men a chill. It is seen as treason, an act of defiance, an act of mutiny and more importantly, an act of disobedience. The feeling white men get is similar to the feeling a mother hen gets when her little chicklets try to escape from her reach. Its a feeling like, "What in the world are you doing with my subordinate"? White men have been so used to their societal status and positions that they just cannot afford for it to be threatened by someone who is supposedly less of a man than they are. They consider white women, and Asian women to an extent, their property which they have no intention of sharing with anyone but themselves. That is why the media and Americans at large constantly take a chill at the sight of an interracial pairing, especially if it is a black male and a white woman.It is because society has made an unwritten law of such sights as "taboo", "treacherous" and "grossly unacceptable". This is the sole reason why some black men, whilst achieving all of those things that at one point was available to white males only, decide to get back at them by "taking a bite out of the forbidden fruit". I know that this is not always true but in some cases, nothing else seems to be the reason. We have seen this time and time again in the media and will certainly not stop seeing it.

This is another reason why time and time again, the media(again largely white male controlled) try to explore the reasons behind the union between an eminent black male and a white woman. They try at all costs to find out exactly why their "pearl" would stoop so low as to marry an "animal" who, if not under the control of his "owners", would unleash some crude animalistic demeanor. That is how the whole concept of "unforbidden fruit" comes up. It is a propaganda started by white men to act as a source of consolation when one of their trophies has been stolen by "their arch-rival". Call me insane but we know that the enkindled attraction between white women and black men has been present even before the time of Jesus Christ. In large parts of Asia Minor and places which in current day would be known as East Africa, black men had been having sexual relations with white women even before the birth of the man called Abraham. Hell, even in West Africa, black sailors used to sleep with white women from time to time. But as we know, that only attracts fury from "THE MAN". So there had to be some kind of "restriction" so black males do not pollute their good eggs.

They(white men) might not want to admit this but i think any one who is not a white male will say the exact same things i am saying(with the possible exceptions of Asian males). It is attitudes like this that made interracial marriages "illegal" until 1967. It is attitudes like this that led to the more than 3,000 lynchings of black males for the "crime" of looking at a white woman. It is crimes like this that made non-whites accustomed to signs such as "Whites Only" and "Colored Only". It is attitudes like this that led to segregation in schools and the murders of great men such as MLK, John Fitzgerald Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln. And whilst today, we do not hear of anymore public lynchings and segregated schools, segregated restrooms and denial of voting rights, such barring signs still exist in large parts of our society structure which, if care is not taken, one will not notice.

In essence, the mentality of "ownership" is something that was irrefutably started by white men and since we all are modeled by the media and attitudes around us alike, has made it way into other societies as well, not only black. We can see signs of it in the hip-hop music of today with its constant reference to women as "bitches", "hoes" and "tricks". But that is a tip of the iceberg. The "ownership" feeling in white men is not as rampant in the black man because as a whole, there are less black men than white men who possess the things that attract women the most; money, power and respect. This is the reason why when a black man eventually does get it, women come swarming to him like bees. He, one time a helpless, societal menace who cannot but depend on his master for everything, has risen to his two feet and is even challenging his master and at the point of overtaking him. For backup, take a peep into the lives of men like Martin Luther King, Michael Jordan, Malcolm X, Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson to mention a few. In truth, all men want their women for themselves and perceive any outsider as a threat but the one in white males is overwhelming.
