When you meet someone( or you're looking to meet someone) do you ask yourself if you can take this person home to meet mom and dad? How important is it to you if your family likes the individual your with? or are you usually more concernced with your own personal preferences in an idividual and tend not to be concerned with what your family may think are important traits in a partner? Theses questions are based solely on personality, not race. Know obviously alot of you will say "both are important to me", but which one is more important to you? Honest answers please.
My parents used to not even say if they like the individual I'm with or not. They always let me make my own decisions. Plus, I'm too stuborn anyway, so when they did say something, like a piece of advice or an alarm signal about a guy I was seeing, I kept going and preffered to kick my head on the wall, to see for myself if its true or not . Although, I noticed my Dad has this interesting, not to call it perverse, approach, when he doesnt like a guy, he badmouths me in front of him so much (telling things like I'm lazy, I'm stuborn, I'm this, I'm that.....of course, with the tone of the joke) untill that guy seriously starts to wonder if my own Father talks about me this way, it must be right, and it happened that some relationships of mine ended right after the meeting with my Dad, so he succeeded making the guy forget about me LOL LOL LOL ('cause he knows he doesnt have a chance with me breaking up with a guy he doesnt like). So....hmmm.....thats about it.
