Can I ask men a question?

I've been getting conflicting views from men and women. We're usually told that men love a chase and like to persue. Personally, I hate the whole chasing game. If I meet a man I'm interested in, I'd rather spend my effort getting to know him and enjoying the relationship. I hate the entire aspect of, "don't say this, don't open up too soon, don't be too available", etc. I just like to be myself. I've also been told I'm "too nice". Are men turned off by women who are too nice? Is it over the top to cook a gourmet dinner, or should I just do hotdogs? One of my single friends told me to cook something horrible so he will never ask you to cook again. I think a woman should know how to cook and I love to cook. All the married women I know completely cater to their husbands, but at what point does that happen? Does this post make sense? Keep in mind, I'm a Cancer, so I'm pretty emotional, lol.

I personally think men do not like the chase. Most people do not like to work. If asked would they want a million dollars now or to work for it, they would take the former of the two. We do like nice women. I am just not a fan of"I do this for you and now you have to do a favor for me".The reason why women develop this whole system of don't do this or that is because you have men out there that will play a lot of women. That's why it is important to get to know the person. It eliminates the players. I agree a lot with you. There should be no games.I am glad I don't believe in the signs because I am cancer and not emotional at all.

Nothing wrong with being up front and honest. I don't play that game either, if I like you I will call you, send you email, text you, whatever. I'm interested, I don't have time to waste like that, wondering, its BS.

 

men dont overly like the chase. we dont mind it BUT women can take it a little too far

 

I mind it! I want it to be as simple as possible. I got too short of a life to live to be playing games or catch me if you can.
