Just hope Ronaldinho is injured

What other stadiums have you been in ?

I shall pay someone to spike his food!

I've been in a fair few UK stadiums, but only the one abroad. The Stadium of Light is a good one and Man City's old ground had a great atmosphere but set in the most notorious council estate in Manchester! Kids would literally claim your car and demand money for doing it in!

Old trafford looks good and large. I really like Highbury though, the TV camera is low, and seems to make the game quicker, pitch seems smaller also, so the quick passing is needed, which Arsenal do.

Is the Wembley stadium done soon? is it near you?

They don't know if the new Wembley will be completed in time for the FA Cup final. I think they said there's a 30% chance that it may not be! Wembley is in London and I'm on Norwich - about 2 hours away by train. I can't wait to go there but with no two towers it won't be quite the same.

I would love to go to both the Maracana Stadium and the Camilo Cichero - can you imagine the atmosphere?!

Are you actually German or do you just live there? I studied German at school for 4 years, but unfortunately I never really got to use it so forgot a lot of it! But there are some similarities between the German and Dutch language, which helps me as I spend a lot of time in Holland. Keep meaning to go to Deutschland though.

Lol the new stadium looks much better than old.

Maracena in brasil yes? the circle stadium in RDJ. Very big lol. So is the camp nou though.

Yeah I am. My father is German, my mother is african-german, moved to Germany. She lived in england for sometime actually. To some people I am not german though, i have never been and never will be
Yeah nederlands is much the same, we are better though 8) How come you spend time there?

To some people you will never be German because you're black. I've seen the same in Holland - Dutch people asking little black boys where they're from, despite them being born in Holland and speaking Dutch! They're a strange lot the Dutch. I go there because my boyfriend lives there and isn't always able to get a UK visitor visa. I'm having to go back at the end of this month actually. When there we sometimes go to Antwerp and I know Iffy goes to Germany sometimes, he lived there for a short while too when he had trials with German teams.

And yes, the Maracena in brasil. I would love to do a bit of samba in that place. It looks amazing.

I stay in a place called Tilburg, which is near Eindhoven. I usually fly into Amsterdam though as I can get a flight direct from my city here, rather than traveling down to London. We also visit Rotterdam a fair bit, have you ever been to the Rotterdam festival? We went the year before last and got caught up in a stampede!

He lives there as he went there to play football, and when that career ended he stayed there. Will be coming to the UK this year though to be with me and the baby.

No i only been one time, for 2 days. Why did the career end? was it for any big dutch team?? Its a very hard sport to be in, for the big teams i mean.

Oh you must go to the Rotterdam festival, it's excellent. A carnival of music and culture from all over the place. Not quite the Rio carnival but good enough!

His career ended because he wasn't offered a good contract with a big club, so he gave up. He wishes that he hadn't though, particularly when he sees players that he played with at Nigeria under 17 level playing in the Cup of African Nations!

Have you seen the new advert featuring Cantona? I saw a preview of it on Soccer AM this morning, it's excellent! It's aim is to get the "beautiful" back into football and cut out the play acting I so much hate! Has clips of your man Ronaldinho doing his ting!

nnooo Ballack is my man  not in that way  I have not seen the advert though, I am sure I will :)

Iffy'sWifey, you can try and distract and talk about other things and hope I dont notice, but I did.

    Middlesborough 3 x 0 Chelsea

I did not see the game, only the scores of england. I read about Robben to Reina also, sounds bad.

But Bayern wins today again, vs Nuremberg. 2 x 1, Makaay and Ballack to score. 8)

    Champions league yesterday & today.

    Bayern 1 x 1 Milan.
I went to the game yesterday evening. LUCKY LUCKY Milan. Bayern deserved to win, BRILLIANT goal from Ballack, he dominates Kaka all evening. Milan gets a penalty for nothing and gets a goal...LUCKY.

    Chelsea x Barcelona today Iffy'sWifey :)
I do think Chelsea will win the 1st game, like last year. If Lampard is good and Mourinho uses Crespo and NOT Drogba.

Well guys...I saw Chelsea and Barcelona today over at one of my friends' apartment after class....a big group of us Yankees..many who hardly watch soccer...were glued....that match was great...way more intense and passionate than most matches we see in U.S. pro soccer....that red card was a bit harsh....yellow maybe, but its funny...one of the guys watching it said a red card would be issued about 15 seconds before the play occurred and he was right...wow.

Chelsea gave it all they could but being down a guy is tough...Ronaldinho made some plays...and missed a few too....can't wait to see 'em play again!

I think it was red now. Del Horno made a tackle on Messi 10 minutes before that one were he kicked him in the knee bad which should be a yellow card, and the 2nd tackle was a yellow aswell so 2 yellow is red. Jose Mourinho just blames the referee and Messi acting for losing, just like he blames things last year but how can he say such things about Messi after what Robben acted with Reina?!!
He can complain but Barcelona were just much better.
Cool that you watched it Chosen one, watch Bayern next time. Much better

I now take back all Michael Ballack comments. He's proved himself to be just playing for money. Perhaps also Hargreaves....

In the English league I now 100% want Manchester Utd to whip Chelsea and Ballack all season!!!

Don't like Eto'o really...Andrei Shevchenko is the best striker I think.

And Gudjonson returns against Chelsea also. I wanted Chelsea in Bayern's group. I guess we can put them out of the tournament after the groups instead.
