You guys are looking at this topic as Rape in a way a stranger assaults a unknown woman in a dark alley or a guy slips a drug in a womans drink in a nightclub.

The question was refering to rape between a Husband and Wife. Yes, I know that no means no, but with a couple that is married and living under the same roof, is it rape if the husband forces himself onto his wife for sex for whatever his reasons.

Remember, this is a marriage, do you folks truly understand what a marriage certificate is and who wrote the marriage laws in the USA?

Have you ever wondered why it's almost impossible to convict a husband on beating his wife?

Are you aware fully of the marriage laws in your state? Are you aware that many state laws on marriage were written back in the 1800's and have not changed or been amended since? There is nothing in marriage laws about love, trust, caring and all that other lovey, dovey stuff.

After you answer those above questions, then answer my question can Husband rape his wife?

Why would you want to rape your wife or anyone?? Both people involved in any sex act should have consented.

BB I have no idea what you are getting at or why you made this??!!

You are wrong (also on that its nearly impossible to convict a husband beating his wife)

Marital rape is considered a criminal offense in many countries including Argentina, Australia, Austria, Barbados, Belize, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Ecuador, England, the Fiji Islands, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Honduras, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Macedonia, Mexico, Namibia, Nepal, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, The Philippines, Poland, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Taiwan, Trinidad/Tobago, the United States, Uzbekistan, and Zimbabwe. (Country Reports on Human Rights Practices released by the US State Department, Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor, were used to determine countries' legal status of marital rape.)
It should be noted, however, that cultural norms and the perceived social stigma attached to rape often discourage the reporting of marital rape, and prosecution is very rare in many countries.

Until 1976, marital rape was legal in every state in the United States. Although marital rape is now a crime in all 50 states in the U.S., some states still don't consider it as serious as other forms of rape. The only states that have laws that make no distinction between marital rape and stranger rape are Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia. These states have no marital rape exemptions.

That's the key right there bro. You gave an answer when you mention "FORCE"

I understand what you are getting at from a husband and wife standpoint.

But if a man has to force himself onto his wife for sex, then it is rape if she doesn't want him to.

If its against her will then it is a violation of her, since she wasn't reciprocal or welcoming of the action.

    This.

Rape is a selfish, self serving, act of power.

There is nothing in it reciprocal or mutual in feelings for a victim.

I imagine folks who rape would have to have some wires crossed and no empathy because there has to be some trigger in you that says, this person does not want this to happen, but I will do it for my own personal pleasure all the same.

With a woman I desire reciprocal feelings, knowing that she wants me, as I in turn want her and thus pleasure is derived from the coming together of those mutual feelings.

    Exactly.

Rape is not a sexual crime it is assault. You can't possibly love the person you rape nor connect it to love.

There is also date rape. A woman can be raped by a man she knows. She can be raped by a boyfriend, a husband, a live-in lover, or a stranger.

If a woman expresses her desire to not have sex with her boyfriend, husband, whatnot and he forces himself on her anyway, that is rape.

    End of story.

I agree with many of the others... If it's forced, then it's rape regardless of relationship.

Rape is rape, whether it's your wife, GF, mistress, maid, stranger or some hot babe you're stalking in the dark alley.

    Good info FG. Thanks.

I'm on my phone and can't copy and paste, but are you seeing the recent news story with Rep. Akins on the issue of rape.

Yes he is getting pressure to step down, but his statement is not isolated and is shared by others. He was repeating what a lot of people think. He was voted into office with his views.

Your wife is SHARING the pussy.
    You don't own it.

But if wifey uses her pussy like a weapon to torture or control you, it might be time to part ways.

A married man should NOT be begging his wife all the time to fuck.

    Hell no.

Yes, it is rape. Whether it's the wife raping the husband or the husband raping the wife rape is rape.
