BYRON ALLEN AND WIFEY EXPECTING

Talk show host prepares to welcome a girl to the fold.

Talk show host Byron Allen and his wife of seven months, Jennifer Lucas, have announced they are expecting their first child at the end of summer.


We're having a girl." Lucas, 36, tells People magazine. "We are so excited. We've always wanted kids, and this is the perfect time for us."

The baby is due on August 29 and will be the couple's first, People reports.

"Byron is going to be an amazing dad," says Lucas. "He will be phenomenal."

Allen, the 46-year-old host of talk shows "Entertainers with Byron Allen" and "Comics Unleashed," married Lucas at the Bel Air Hotel in Los Angeles last September in front of 120 guests, including Natalie Cole and Eddie Murphy.

Congrats to the couple. I thought Byron Allen was older than 46, but I'm happy for him.

 

Beautiful couple ... congrats to them. They say that a lot of times when parents are a little older, they're better parents. I heard of one man who became the father of a little boy when he was already in his forties, and he just couldn't get enough of the little one!

 

Byron is the man.. he should have his own "Tonight Show" program.. especially since Arsenio went off the air, the brothers haven't gotten that chance.. Magic's show came and went; same with Keenan...
