This is about the last time I was interested in hip-hop.

 

Hard to Earn and Jazzmatazz 2 are two of the most awesome hip hop albums I've ever heard. I'm praying for him too.

I've never been a big fan of his but he's a good artist.

I hope he recovers from this.

Guru’s nephew, Justin Nicholas-Elam Ruff, makes an impassioned statement on behalf of his family. He claims that Guru’s producer/partner Solar has gained power of attorney for his uncle and is denying his family any access to him. He says that Guru actually fell ill in early February, and since then they have been shut out by Solar.

After Guru got out of surgery he made it clear that the only other person that could speak for him besides himself is Dj Solarr. He didn't mention Dj Premier at all. I know that Gang Starr is not together anymore but damn! I wonder what type of personal issues that him and Primo have. I wonder is it sorta like what Primo and Jeru the Damaja went through back in the days. I hate to see people with so much chemistry together fall out like that.

 

I just heard some bad news. Rev Run just sent out a tweet saying that Guru just passed away. Has anybody heard the same? Is it true? Please don't tell me its true.
