Looks like Brady lost a lot of money there dropping so many spots. His hottie blonde girlfriend didn't look too happy either, thinking about all that money he won't get. She's probably thinking, "Hmmm, I should've been dating JaMarcus instead..."
Its not as much money as it would appear though, remember he is the golden boy, the face of football in cleveland, hell he might become more popular than Lebron, and eventhough he went 22nd he will probably be getting more endorsement than all the players that went ahead of him
I wouldn't worry about him too much. He has rock star looks and that alone will have him paid. His girl is cute, but don't be shocked if he's sporting somebody a notch or two up from her in a few months to a year, depending how serious it is of course. If she's unhappy about him not being drafted higher, welcome to the reality of American women. Where their not happy with 15 Million dollar contracts and another 10 or so in endorsement deals. It had to be 3rd pick overall and 35 Million and plus whatever he earns from local and national endorsement deals. She latched onto him when she figured out he was NFL talent, I can promise you. The same thing happen to my cousin before he was drafted by the Redskins. The girl was practically spending his money already.... Have I mention that the divorce rate for retired NFL players is something over 60%?
Forget the draft, the biggest offseason fiasco, in my opinion, is the Randy Moss trade in my opinion. Now i know a lot of people might think it's just one of those hype moments in U.S sports and will point to the fact that Moss ain't a team player but fuck that, this team are for real. The Pats are gonna come out with guns blazing come fall of this year. Coach Belichick wouldn't ask for a better offensive line. I just cannot fathom what Tom Brady, Donte Stallworth and now Randy Moss would do to teams next season. Ben Watson is one hell of a tight end and one of the best runner/receivers in the league is Kevin Faulk. Brady has never played with a really good wide receiver but Sunday was his lucky day. I'm not exaggerating by saying this is an All-Star lineup. If i were the Colts, i'd be shaking right now.
Being a life long Raider fan, I was disappointed about loosing Moss. I felt it was only the culture of loosing that had him wanting to pack his bags. But I also feel it was time for the Raiders to start building from within. They have spend the last 6 years or so buying talent from other teams and not drafting young effective talent. When we lost Bruce Allen that hurt more than loosing Gruden... New England's problem wasn't scoring really, even with the injuries, it was the D getting beat up and allowing season scoring during their playoff run.
