Y'all, don't go see the new SATC movie cause there ain't no bruhs in it as romantic interests for any of the girls. Don't support it at all.

I have zero plans to see that movie. I never watched the TV show. I tried to watch it a couple of different times and just sat there wondering what was so great about it. :?

Dude, you shoulda just put "CHICK-FLICK ALERT" as the title for this thread.

You gotta warn people sometimes because I believe that "Jerry Maguire" was a chick-flick disguised as a sports movie, and we were all duped into watching it.

I only seen the episodes where there was interracial. Other than that....this show is boring stupid, I wouldn't call it a chick-flick, I have heard women that don't even like it more than I hear women say they like it.

are you seriously basing how good a movie is on whether or not there are any potential IR couples?

I think kid is getting at, since that it got turned into a big movie, they decided to drop it. Plus he had told us earlier that they weren't going to put brothas in it for some reason....I forget but ask him, kid rasta got the low down on hollywood fa sho'.

I was thinking the same thing! If that was the criteria for going to see a movie or not-we would never go to the movies!! I love chick flicks! (and Carrie always has killer shoes)!!

If that's the case, then I'm curious as to how many times you've seen "Terms of Endearment" and "Gone With the Wind"? Those two are the grandmother of all chick-flicks.

I'm also curious as to how many boxes of kleenex you go through during the viewing of a certain "chick-flick"?

I hope the flick tanks. Indy will prolly kick its ass at the box office.

Same. I heard on a radio show that SITC was the largest anticipated movie of the summer and I was thinking to myself, WHAT??? Are there that many drones watching that show?

Hard to believe that it would be so over say, Indy, and Iron Man.

That's crazy! It's the stupid media hype.

And I'll continue your last sentence - also over say The Incredible Hulk, Hancock, and a little movie called The Dark Knight. I want to say that maybe, just maybe those movies are a wee bit more anticipated.

    But, I don't know.
