When they announced the casting of this movie they made it seem like the father wasn't around. He isn't even a part of the main cast. So interesting to see how they do his character on this show.
What were they leary about? It's kind of awkward to have a show named after him where he is a widow with two mixed-race kids when in real life he also has two mixed-race kids with a white woman who is still alive. lol. Interesting concept though.
The brief scene between the mom and dad of the mixed girl is clearly IR even if their relationship isn't the main focus of the series.

Lindsey Morgan (The chick that played Raven on The CW's "The 100") is involved in another IR on The CW's new "Walker, Texas Ranger" reboot series "Walker" with Jeff Pierre's character.:
No. I'm going to try and dig something up when I get time but I think that there was one before but the show got cancelled.
Half way through the 2nd episode of "Bridgerton"....I see Shonda Rhymes couldn't help herself & made the darkskin father of black male co-lead live up to this stereotype:
Has anyone noticed the two most popular and most discussed series on Netflix (Lupin and Bridgerton), both have WW/BM leads? Are we a seeing shift towards something good?
Nope both are international movies removed from the US Foreign entertainment has always been on the IR forefront
