Let's face it is the stereotype true or not? This woman wants to be in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's fattest woman. Her goal is to reach 1000 lbs. Yes, she has a man as you can see! THOUGHTS?
Truthfully I use to harp on this but I'm all about finding love where ever you can find it. I wouldn't be with a woman like that but far be it from me to say another man shouldn't. But I wonder as someone who really loves her how can he encourage that kind of weight gain. I give it a year before she dies from a heart attack or stroke.
That's just nasty. I suppose if they're happy then more power to them, but that's just not healthy. I can't imagine men would find her attractive, regardless of how great her personality is. In fact I'm not even sure how that'd work, it looks like physical size alone would be a limiting factor for sex? Bottomline, it's not so much about physical appearance, it's about health and that woman's a heart attack waiting to happen. Not to mention, say she passed out on top of him, he's screwed, there's no way he could move that much dead weight off himself. Nope that's just got bad written all over it.
Stereotypes tend to develop based on relatively frequent circumstances. Its not uncommon to find a BM that likes 'bigger' women.
She passed 'bigger' about 400 pounds ago honey. I think she's currently at massive, on the way to monumentally huge.
I'm not going to tell anyone they need to lose weight, as long as they are happy with themselves and willing to accept that they are likely shortening their life, then that's ultimately all that matters. Personally I couldn't look in the mirror and like what I saw if I was her size. That would not only be unhealthy, but it would be indicative of a complete lack of self-control on my part, and that would be unacceptable to me. Just looking at her makes me want to go do another round of cardio this afternoon.
Damn talk about a cautionary tale. Anyone makes Precious look skninny should be ashamed of themselves. Even precious is doing weight watchers.
lippy is a little more suspect of those that tend to bring up the stereotype over and over and over again almost as if they are fascinated by fat women...i don't think the majority of black men go looking for stuff like this on the internet...this is clearly a lexington move...porcelainsnowbird move...malikom move...blacgirl move... so why on earth would a regular poster put something like this out there other than to stir the pot...perpetuate the stereotype smdh:smt009
I don't think you have to look hard to find this, she's been in the news recently Lippy, quite a lot actually. This is about the third or fourth time this week that I've heard about her. It's sad really, she's 600 pounds and plans to gain another 400 pounds in the next 2 years. I just can't imagine eating as much as she does, it's a little sickening, especially considering that's how she finances her food habit. She has a website where people pay to watch her eat. WTF?
You really can't be surprised babe this is a world where people pay money to people her size actually have sex. Talk about disgusting. Like I said she won't make it she's gonna have a heart attack or a stroke
Yet she insists she's healthy, she can no longer walk mind you, but she's healthy. Whatever, I put walking high up on the 'am I healthy' checklist.
Oh I'm sure it is. I honestly don't understand people with children who don't take their health seriously. It seems really selfish to me when you're a parent to not take care of yourself so you'll be around to see your kids grown and out on their own. My siblings and mother smoke and it just thoroughly pisses me off how cavalier they are with their health. I don't feel I have that luxury.
this is the first i have heard about her or seen a picture and i watch the news all the time...perhaps she didn't make it on world news tonight or cnn...personally, i find this walmart shopping, white trash, i'm so fat but i got a bm crap just ridiculous...it's pathetic and has no place here on the forum unless the goal of this thread is to continually educate and (re) educate people that stop by the forum that our IR union is nothing more than bm that can't get anything more than a bottom of the barrel ww
I don't think that's really fair. The reality is that loosing or maintaining a healthy weight does not require the same effort from everyone. I've known a few morbidly obese people in my life, and their road back to healthy is a much longer, & harder one than someone who is averagely overweight. I gained a little last month -- too many long hours at work, ate crap, didn't exercise. A couple of weeks of green tea & exercise, and I was back to where I like to be. It wasn't a long trip. Some of the morbidly obese people I've know, however, got that way by the time they reached puberty. They never had the chance to apply the same level of mature will power I might use to loose the extra pounds. It takes a herculean effort by comparison to undue what was done during childhood. It's easy for someone like me to look at morbidly obese people and think they exhibit character flaws. But I've never had to loose 50 pounds, let alone 100, or even 2 or 300. How much suffering must that take? All the while people are treating you like shit, making you want to eat more, and usually there's no other comfort available. Fact is, the morbidly obese people I've known *have* been ashamed of themselves, and it only made it harder for them to loose weight. They didn't believe in themselves, they hated themselves actually, and they didn't believe they could do it. I don't think demanding more shame out of them would do much good.
