http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/06/us/06loving.html?ref=us here is the story....And it is something that A lot of sistas that hate when a black men does it that this couple is the face of victory for all interracial couples' rights...and it is actually your face...A sista. May she rest in peace.
She and her husband paved the way for Interracial couples to date and marry without drama. Last year was the 40th anniversary of the case. Has anyone seen the TV movie called The Lovings? It was a good flick.
I had watched the film when it first came out. I respect the Lovings for their courage and bravery to freely love each other. My prayers go out to the Loving Family.
Yeh, Ironic, isn't it?? Still and all, there are *lots* of balck men that frown upon it and openly cast aspersions on it, too... As well as *many* Black women that are only just now delving into said relationships more & more (Hear, Hear!!) Yep, we...*I*...owe a *LOT* to you, Mrs. Loving. And to that end...I tip my hat, bow, and say three little words that you *deserve*: Thank You, Ma'am!! OpinionsCartoonStudios@yahoo.co.uk
