I had a Nico flashback when I saw this on TV. http://m.examiner.com/examiner/db_/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=CQ0KQkme&full=true#display
SMH I wish we had a time machine so we can send this kid back to the 1800's, only then he would understand what that flag really means. This is what I think of the Confederate flag:butthead:.
We don't even need to send him back that far... I'm sure he wouldn't feel so passionate about the Confederate flag if he had lived in the South when Jim Crow laws were alive and well and lynchings were the order of the day...:smt104
Not since H.K.Edgerton put on his Confederate suit to preach about Blacks for the CSA that I had seen another house slave who loves punishment. He ranks with the thugs who sag their pants to down low levels. Someone should take this brother to the most redneck part in the South with the Confederate flag and see that real reason on what that banner represents. For example Vidor,TX.
For anyone who doesn't believe some Black folk were happy being slaves in the Antebellum South, I give you Exhibit A; their great great grandson who thinks the Confederate flag is cool.
as far as im concerned you're all house slaves a real field buck wouldn't be caught dead in the hands of a white woman he'd be down with his sista slaves on some ride or die shit
What an Uncle Tom. Why doesn't he do the real racist idiots a favor and Lynch himself. I can recall footage of angry white southerners waving mini confederate flags screaming "5 6 7 8 we dont wanna integrate" He makes a good point about the term "African American" But his rant was so retarded that he killed any intelligence he had.
You goof. You can interchange "you" with "a person" in my sentence. I don't understand people who want to dredge up old symbols from hate or hate groups and say they don't mean what they mean. They mean now what they meant then. And if you don't know history you can quickly be a fool.
heh... well, I defend the rights of the dimwitted to be dimwitted.. best of luck to that young man in his career, hope he graduates and goes on to a good career.. and hopefully along the way he'll learn the real history behind that flag..
