i heard that too...but lets not derail this thread. Its about Russia and their xenophobia. Just a question, What would you prefer people of the Caribbean called? Caribbean. Both are okay terms that I refer to myself as...

 

Too much generalizing, IMO. Your experience in a country is all about the people you encounter.

Now, if you find a down babushka to keep you warm on those cold Russian nights, life is good.

If you can get a few friends together, I would have no problem clubbing in Russia, but I would never go someplace at night solo. Civil rights and law enforcement are foreign concepts over there for the average American.
