Black NFL Couple Adopt Caucasian Child

With all the racism in this country, my hat goes off to DeMarcus Ware. However, a lotta black people are really pissed off at him for this.

We're pissed off just for being black these days. What else is new. I personally think it's a wonderful story, considering the fact that they've had trouble conceiving. In this day and age of racial tension that no one wants to discuss openly, this kind of adoption is very brave.

Funny. There are a whole lot of little black boys and girls out there needing homes. Where are those pissed off black folks who are capable of taking them in???

 

I read the article and I did not see anywhere in it that said black folks are mad at this couple, I think it is speculation. We as black gotta stop being so hard on each other I know I and my friends are not mad about being black. Don't generalize man.

 

Beautiful story and beatiful pics. There shouldn't be any hatred or outrage over this because of the amount of white people that adopt our children. This is rare that a black couple adopting white children and should be celebrated as a rare step in a good direction of racial harmony.
Because when this child grows up race really isn't going to matter, because she has black parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.

I first saw this article while on another message board. The backlash was unbelievable, and a lotta black people were both angered and upset at DeMarcus Ware & his wife. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about because the last thing I would do is speculate and generalize about the opinions of other people.
