Black Men Only Listen to Rap, R&B, Gospel & Reggae

No stereotype is fact but you they are based in some truth. Lets be honest you will be hard pressed to find blacks male or female that listens to other genres of music in large enough numbers that makes you seriously doubt the stereotype.

 

I used to only listen to rap now i despise it with a passion

 

Nobody of any age, race, sex, or species should listen to Avril Lavigne.

 

I've always found it a bit weird that some take a look at a person's skin color or way they dress and assume they must be all the way into a certain music direction.

I like when a guy enjoys different types of music as I am not only drawn towards one but several different ones myself.

I prefer early 90's hip-hop, Tribe Called Quest, Gangstarr, Mob Deep, Common. The shit out here today is enough to make me shake my head.

My taste in music is across the board. Anything that has a good beat, emotive, melodic I can enjoy.

From progressive trance, house, lounge, chillout, jazz, rock to World Music (India, Tibet, bossa nova in Brazil, etc)

 

I Listen to all genres

I listen to whatever gets the goosebumps going

I was thinking about this.........this really isn't a myth or Stereotype.

If we trying to use the word "ALL" then now...but you can't use the words all for anything, for any aspect or human reality. Its why when people reply to a question or comment by saying "you can't so all" I just want to reach over and choke the fuck out of them....

HOWEVER...

this is true statement. You have the main culture then you have the sub culture, and the sub culture (being the smallest part) is the group that listen to music outside of the main culture.

...so the title of this thread is true............its neither a Stereotype nor a myth, but a reality of culture.
