I don´t know if I am the only person who sees that or if that is something common.
What differs my Black Men from my former WM is the usage of BodyLotion and other skincare and haircare product. Usualy BM have more Beauty Care Product then I do ( Exept Make-UP).
Extually when I started dating Black Americans, that was what suprised me most, this huge amount of products for skincare in thier bathroom..... and body lotion.... I don´t know even one white guy using body lotion.

    So U guys here....
What are u useing for body care and is that realy common for BM and when yes, why is that so?

My husband uses body lotion too. I found that a bit strange to be honest, but here ya go. Nothing against a guy who looks after his skin. But he doesn't use anything else.
I think I'd worry if he had a lot of beauty products. :p I'm not into the whole "metrosexual" thing.

My brother inlaw is white and he uses a LOT of beauty products, way more than my sister, he's a major "metrosexual". LOL I always just thought he was gay. ;)

Chandara, we have lotions/skincare products because we get ashy, as IB pointed out.

I have a lotion specifically for my face.

Nothing like a man who takes care of himself. :smt054

He looks like he's been dipping in flour, cornstarch and cocaine.

I remember I met this brutha, he shook my hand and I felt like I was touching sandpaper. I kept wondering how does he get affectionate or have sex with those things.

Besides him, every dude I've ever been with always had nice smooth, soft skin. I could touch it all day. ;-)

A man should take care about his body- for sure. He has his own products, but cremes, body lotion, After Shave is normal. Manicure and pedicure should be used ,too, not to forget a regularly visit at the coiffeur..

a coiffeur is an artist in his job (he also offers face massage or a shave with the knife- the old style), a haircutter you find at every corner

When a white man's skin gets dry you can't tell because their skin is light so the "ash" doesn't show up. With black men, it's shows and it's not the most attractive thing in the world.

I'm lucky because I have oily skin. The only places I need to use lotion is on my hands after washing them sometimes.
