The essence of making an apology is the acceptance of responsibility by the offender, period. In this case, you have attempted to mitigate the intent of your comment by suggesting that we in the states are more sensitive, based on strained race relations. You compound the problem by then trying to rationalize your wrong doing using faux science.

If you had truly wanted to make an apology you would have just apologized for the offense. In making this post you've only succeeded in being more insulting, and even more to my intelligence.
