Black college students get better grades with white roommate

But this is racist though, and while it may be true, id expect to see something of this nature on racist site...........not here.

But hey--cant dismiss the merit it has on society. So i'll give in my two sense......

• 1. Grades are not racially distributed
• 2. A slacker is a slacker, a motivated/disciplined kid, is a motivated/disciplined kid.
• 3. Some whites get BAD grades, a lot of blacks get GOOD grades.

That being said, if the black kid is motivated/disciplined and obtains good grades, and the white kid is a slacker, then the black kid will get dragged down with possibilities of under performing if he mimics the character of the white kid.

I wonder though. My grades have always been [much]better when i chilled with fellow black colleagues than they were when i chilled with white kids....,,,

 

May it's cuz they party too much when they hang out with another black person. I know my hispanic kids party more when they see other hispanic kids than when they hang out with kids of other races. The just feel some sort of cultural comraderee.

 

now that would be a study... i wonder what happens to a white female when she rooms with a black...

My last place I was rooming with two black guys. It was just like living with white guys, except with more rap music and hair-braiding. Well, it was mostly me and Cedric, but Rob kepting coming and going because he kept fighting with his girlfriend. *L*

It's been my experience that living with college age guys of any race is about the same. They're generally pretty messy (not saying all guys are, of course), usually expect the girl to do the housework, have lots of dvds and video games, and are mostly concerned with homework, partying, and getting pussy.

Ah, college boys.
