But, you're right... sometimes the purpose of the site is not very clear. The site is not specifically for the purpose of bringing bm and ww together to discuss bm / ww relationships. The site is a venue for bm and ww to discuss pretty much anything. We each come here with our own purpose, interests, influence and agenda.

I have also struggled with some of the things posted to the site at times. I feel we have an over abundance of soapy abalicious male models and big tittied naked women with vagina's. I've eventually come to realize that it just comes with the territory. Now, I just get annoyed at the 'thank you for the rep' thread.

Anyways, lets talk about something interesting relating to bm & ww.. any topic.. you pick.

The message on this thread , at least for me, is to promote another narrative of a desirable and successful black men, to the extent, I hope, it becomes an everyday coffee that would no longer warrant much media created curiosity.

The distraction in this sort of message is that there is so much diversity in the black male population beyond billionaire rap stars and men with swollen crotches and biceps. It helps if the black man is humanized and put on an equal footing beyond stereotypes of swollen biceps and crotches.

This sort of narrative, I don't think, hurts white women in anyway, but rather, I think, promotes their choices beyond these narrowly imagined stereotypes.

You're right, I hadn't looked at it in that light. That makes sense.

 

My point wasn't that I wanted to talk about ww billionaires. I just sensed when I first joined that the weight of the threads/posts were along the lines of "are we dating our oppressors?" Or whatever thread about sex toys I start in the ladies room inevitably ends up being taken over by the bm choir discussing (fighting) amongst themselves about their experiences with racist cops... with the occasional interjection "racism sucks" cheer from the ladies. I don't feel that way anymore. I misjudged. I no longer think this is the case at all. We have plenty of discussions about women's feet, curves, etc.
Joking aside, I really love this site and am learning so much from you guys. Seriously, my original post was unfair. I hope you'll let me stay. :smt053 It's fun.
