We already knew Janet omitted (what she now says actually happened) from her book, in order to 'play nice'.

Remember when these accusations became public. It wasn't some conspiracy. A comic named Hannibal Burress made reference to the rumor that back in the day Bill Cosby was drugging and raping women.

Cosby no doubt isn't the only Hollywood celeb who's done grimy shit and I for one don't believe all these women were raped,(some knew they were taking drugs from Cosby), that said you can't give someone drugs and then have sex with them when they're semi-conscious.

Bill Cosby's bid to be cleared of sexual assault charges appeared to suffer a setback Thursday as the first expert witness his defense called as a toxicologist admitted his only license is 'a driving license' – prompting laughter in court.

Judge Steven T O’Neill repeatedly called for order as the court erupted as the jury delivered its verdict, unanimously finding Cosby guilty on all three counts of aggravated sexual assault: administering an intoxicant, rendering his victim unconscious and penetrating her without consent.

The seven men and five women reached their verdict after 14 hours of deliberations.

 

Now come the swift and endless appeals....

 

Do you think he will remain in or out of jail during them?

 

I don't know, but you know what I do know? Harvey Wienstein & all these other accused white men in Hollywood part of #Metro will never see a day in court. Bet That!

 

multiple factors at play here, risk to the community, health issues, flight risk ect. Being convicted on all three counts does not bode well for Cosby however....

 

You're right. Harvey by all accounts, raped women. He belongs in jail. Is statues at play? He could very well still be charged.

 

Looks like Cosby will stay free at least until sentencing, will be interesting to see what strategies his lawyers come up with to keep him free during appeal....

This is an extraordinary rare win for the prosecution, they were facing a huge uphill battle with inconsistencies in testimony, passage of time, hearsay, statutes of limitations, former payments, and still they were able to secure convictions, incredibly rare from a legal perspective.

 

If he can get an appeal, I don't think the conviction will stand, do you?

 

He will most certainly appeal, he may have to go to prison in the meantime, but his appeal chances are better than most I would wager, that being said, overall appeals have a low chance of success. They would have to bring some new information, judges dont overturn prior convictions easily.

 

You hit it on the head! Those men will never have a trial like Cos. Ms.Allred will have that single victory and that is it.
