Big Science Projects

DenzBenz, I ran across an article on big science projects and thought I present it to you. You appear to be an interesting fella based on your posts in the areas of science and technology. Do you have any thoughts on big science as do projects like these enhance science and technology? I have always felt the U.S. made a big mistake in not funding the superconducting supercollider and the National Superspeed Computer infrastructure Project. Then again what you expect from a bunch of lawyers running our government who do not know a damned thing about science and technology. We need innovative leaders again in this country.
