Best American City for Black Men meeting White Women

San Diego... definitely not San Diego. I live in San Diego and it is definitely not San Diego. There is a clear and present social and racial line down here.
As progressive and liberal as San Diego seems, all those flip flop wearing sun bleached Californians are die-hard conservatives. I have had very little luck in the inter-racial dating scene here.
Or maybe I'm just losing my sex appeal.
My vote would be Houston.

Ha - I grew up in Houston and I could certainly say the same thing about it. It may be diverse, but it is quite divided in its diversity - not to mention even more conservative than San Diego in many ways.

 

From what I've heard, Montclair, NJ is the mecca of interracial dating and raising interracial families.

Up here in Boston, not much..but citywise Jamaica Plain may be your best shot. Suburbs, Cambridge, Somerville and Medford. I lived in Medford for seven years and never had a problem, except for two flat tires, and the Asians did that b/c I was in their "spot". Brought many a white girl there back in the day. Very mixed, not judgmental.

There was a lot more interracial dating in Dorchester (the largest neighborhood in Boston) in the eighties than now. I know. I was part of it. I got out of it unscathed. Oh wait, there's a drive-by...

Amherst is a very small college town, I live in the area. While very liberal it is also VERY white when the college kdis are gone. There are probably like 12 black men there in total. Don't know about IR dating in Hartford, but I do know that the Hartford cops have a rep for being racist pigs. Don't know about Providence.

 

It has to be MIAMI/ South Beach...

I just got back from a week vacation there, and granted I assume most of the couples were tourists just like I was, but I have never seen so many IR couples. I am not kidding you, I think I have seen more IR couples made of BM and WW than I have seen all black couples.... I am still smiling at all the beautiful pairs I have seen....

I've always wanted to visit Miami. I hear San Jose is really good.

 

Montreal had so many interracial couples when I visited 7 years ago, I immediately wanted to move there. My French was so-so though. C'mon you knew I was going to move back to Boston, but it was fun to fantasize. Edit: Montreal isn't in America, is it? :cry: . Disregard topic.

This black girl on a hair website of all places called Columbus, OH "the city where ww love their black men." :lol: She said ww there ruthlessly pursue black men and have really haughty attitudes toward black women. This is coming from a black woman, though, and in the year's time I spent living there, I didn't really see this happening. There were a lot of interracial couples, but i didn't notice any ww running around trying to lasso black men or anything like that, lol. I was approached by black men a few times when I was there, not the other way around. I was in a relationship for part of the time I was there, so I wasn't looking. I think this bw just had a bad attitude about IR dating. Anyway, seems to be a good city for IR relationships. I'm only an hour away from Cbus, but the pickings for good men of any race aren't good around here. It's true that most of Ohio is farmland. I'm thinking about going back to Cbus...

 

How To Meet White Women and Black Men--Cities

Grand Rapids, MI, is a good place to meet white women who date interracially. However, it is still pretty much a conservative city, very segregated, and a lot of racism. Furthermore, the economy is not in a good state. Furthermore, if you are looking to get married IR and have children--I would not suggest Grand Rapids, MI. It is not diversity friendly. Therefore, meet them and, if best, move away with the woman you love.

 

Minneapolis.

Seattle is also good.

:arrow: The A-T-L is now mostly populated by folks from all over so there is a decent amount of IR going on down here that's mostly OUR KIND too. :wink: You really see alot of it at concerts and sporting events :!:

 

I cant believe San Diego has a bad IR scene, that was my shinning star city.. Does anyone else feel the same about SD?

Yeah, I live in L.A., and I've been to san diego a ton. Very conservative, not good on IR dating generally. If you're a musician though, it doesn't matter. Ass on parade of every color. 8)

 

I live in Fremont Ca. Just north of San Jose I've seen alot of IR couples too. with children and familes.

It's beautiful.

San Francisco is a good spot too.

 

my vote is for...minneapolis, no phoenix, well maybe las vegas, how about denver, sacramento isn't bad and then there is san diego, love seattle, let's not forget portland...
bottomline there are beautiful black men everywhere...the life of the traveling sales woman... :twisted:

 

I have dated women from San Diego and Oceanside, that must make me ODD or something.

California is a progressive state, acceptance is good here period.

I only spent a short time in FLA and that was at the Super Bowl (Jacksonville), so I didn't get a chance to really get involved in the local "scene" there.

Please don't be foolish enough to relocate just for IR because as somebody once told me, if you struggle in your own town to get laid, you won't do any better someplace else...

That being said I struggle for documented reasons which are not even questioned in other parts of the world, so take that for what its worth.

 

I agree about CA. I like living here because IR couples are commonplace everywhere
