chips are actually pretty hard to track. The safeguards are that he won't be able to just walk in and cash in these chips. HOWEVER, if he were to go in and play at the tables for a while, and when i say play at the tables, i mean, keep it moving, never in the same spot too long to bring suspicion upon himself, he MAY be able to cash in small chunks of it at a time. I hope he wasn't an idiot and only took large marker chips, like $1000 dollars and up. That's a red flag, not to mention you gotta claim taxes on any take over $500, lol.
If they're usable, which I doubt, he can fence them but even then you're talking maybe .10 on the dollar, so the robber would collect about $150,000. That's still a good haul in my opinion.
