that in and of itself....shows that white privilege exists....if it didn't...they wouldn't care if they were white or "colored"

An previous poster said that because of Obama's connection to the moslem world, he would be able to solve the middle east problem. The truth is that Obama doesn't know anymore about the middle east than any other politician in the USA. I'd think that Hillary knows more. The other mistaken idea is that the moslem world will look and see that the US has elected a black president whose father or grandfather was a non-practicing moslem and fall all over themselves to become friendly with the west once more. The reality is that the middle eastern world will see Obama as just another rich American politician. They won't notice his race and won't recognize his partial moslem ancestry.

I've always believe that our first female president would need to be Republican or at least moderate Democrat. Mainstream America will never elect a liberal female Democrat like Clinton. They would prefer somebody more moderate, regardless of skin color.

Hillary is a strong woman....but stubborn as well....that can be a good quality....but I look at her and Barack this way:

If there is a giant brick wall in front of them...Hillary will try and go through that wall....and she will keep trying until she passes out....she will work hard and put up a valiant effort...but it will be in vain....she will appear to be "busy" but there won't be any progress. Barack will stand and look at the wall....thinking of a way to go around or over the obstacle....he will appear "listless and lazy" but eventually...he will figure out a way past the wall without killing himself in the process.

No he can't solve the problems over there....but he would be more willing to negotiate. I suspect many blacks aren't smitten with the notion that everything Israel does is right....he would approach situations with a more balanced perspective. Traveling to different nations doesn't make you worldly but actually living in a different nation for an extended time period may help give you a broader perspective. The idea that because his grand-father was a non-practicing Muslim....Barack will be able to work magic in the Middle East is ALMOST (BUT LESS) crazy as the idea that because Hillary traveled with her daughter as a sign of goodwill to various nations as the First Lady...that somehow...she will be able to negotiate with them. It has become obvious from the White House Papers that have been released that her role during her husband's administration was considerably smaller than what many were led to believe. Her cry of having 35 years of political experience makes little sense because 35 years ago...she had just started out working in a law firm. If working in a law firm counts as political experience...then Johnny Cochran should have ran for president before he passed away.

And just how do we determine experience.....

If we are talking about actual legislative experience....and holding office than it would go this way...(listed from the most experience to the least)

    McCain
    Obama
    Clinton

(Obama has held public office since the mid-90's...Clinton never served in a state legislature....she ran for U.S. Senate early this decade)

If we are talking about executive experience....then there would be a three-way tie....because none of them has executive experience.
