I hadn’t heard of this either.
When it comes to openness to IR relationship I see a strong divide between Northern/Western/Central Europe and Eastern/South Eastern European countries (roughly former CSSR).
Then also this is talking of Serbian men. Anyone knows Balkan guys are quick to get physical when drunk, whether you are black or white.
So I wouldn’t lump the whole continent together because of this incident.
Regardless, it’s a sad case and should never have happened.
