And for the Love of Jesus....the courts had BETTER have that soon-to-be-newborn handed over to Child Protective Services IMMEDIATELY after birth if not sooner.

Though with the way the U.S. Criminal Justice System is inclined to do things, I don't think there's any possibility of that happening without some kinda dispute of some sort...

What a beautiful baby he was, so sad he looks very well cared for in the picture.

If you do actually read it, she did not kill her baby, her crazy boyfriend stole the baby and killed him, what a dreadful awful thing to happen, yes she should have protected her child better by not being involved with him, but she is very young 18 and I think the guilt would be enough to haunt any woman down the years and doesn't need any extra punishment.
That boyfriend of hers should be strung up.

 

There is an offence known as Aiding and Abetting..

And it may very well be a case of she *allowed* it to happen.

I seriously doubt that she would have been incarcerated if she hadn't had a hand in the mix....

I believe she was in prison for other charges not associated with the baby killing. The guy basically beat her down and then the baby. He then took the baby drove off and threw the baby(while driving) on to the highway. I don't see any abetting there. She went to prison for calling and threatening someone.
