Australian police discriminating against Africans

Guess I shouldnt be that suprised. I am probably getting a distorted view of Aussies in the UK. I probably just meet the liberal ones.

I keep tell ya all. The best way to fight Iron is with Iron. Board a plane and go to Aussie, find your self a Sophie Monk like Uncle Russ & dilute their gene. That will piss them of more than anything. Even Hitler will be rolling in his grave.

 

*rolling eyes* oh i give up. how about you jump on board a plane and find out for yourself whether or not melbourne is as racist and bigoted as it's being reported. and i must say that i am unimpressed with hitler being mentioned in a thread that australia is.
the suburbs in which the reports talk about are some of the worst in melbourne. and having anyone hanging out at the local train station (especially Dandenong) at night will have them hassled by the police because of the violence that has been happening there. i am in no way condoning the behaviour of the handful of hateful police officers and their actions, all i'm saying is don't tarnish the name of the country and city i live in because of the said actions of those officers and some stupid, mindless, inapt people. melbourne is such a diverse and multicultural city, and of course there will always be disputes and racists everywhere we go, but fair wack of the stick...let's try and clean up our own backyards before we start in others.

 

Look, what I am saying is the Australians that visit the UK have probably been exposed to various cultures(A lot of them have taken time out to travel, and the UK is one of many stops.) So they are more comfortable around other races, and thus more liberal in their thinking. When I say this is a distorted view of Australians, I mean I have fallen into the trap of thinking all Aussies are like this(liberal in their thinking), because all the ones I have met are like that. Which clearly isnt the case.

 

there are FAR more racist places in the world than Australia let me tell you all that! Oz is an easy target for many that have never been.

Im sure racisn exists everywhere. You can not pick just one country. But remember not all white people are racist. Its only a minority.
