Defining membership in a society by race, religion or other concept other than adhering to common laws breeds hostility toward 'The Other'.

 

Not surprised, Israel is one of the most racist countries in the world. It's a shame to see people not learn from the tragedy of their own history.

 

With a growing community of far right-wing influence, it's no surprise that we're seeing this sort of problem. It existed before, but mainly with Arabs and still continues to this day. Now, another scapegoat comes to form...and we're talking about Africans being discriminated against.

Then again, this draws parallel to the current immigration issue with our country and Mexico.

 

Even though a Ethopian Jew won the Miss Israel contest there is still racism. People like Farrakhan uses these stories in The Final Call. Let's hope there are more Israeli women who love brothers in spite of the racists in that country.

A great number of secular Jews in the US would be against what's going on with the country. You're more likely to get the heavy Hilter-esque support from the orthodox practitioners and rabid anti-Arab segments.

 

This is sickening. Can't even immigrate to another country without being hounded for bullshit. A country is losing out when they reject and eject their lawful immigrants based on their own fears and prejudices.

I have dated and know sooo many wonderful Africans. Nothing more enjoyable in my years past than to visit my (ever-welcoming) friends and have delicious native food, great wine, and wonderfully insightful cultural, political and religious conversations with them. Israel's loss!

 

I always say this, the worst thing than being black is being a black African cus EVERYBODY discriminates against you including blacks who are not African.
