KANSAS CITY, Kansas (CNN) -- Army Spc. Jeremy Hall was raised Baptist.

Like many Christians, he said grace before dinner and read the Bible before bed. Four years ago when he was deployed to Iraq, he packed his Bible so he would feel closer to God.

He served two tours of duty in Iraq and has a near perfect record. But somewhere between the tours, something changed. Hall, now 23, said he no longer believes in God, fate, luck or anything supernatural.

So, I take it that you condone threats of violence and discrimination against people who don't share your religious beliefs.

Anyway. If I recall correctly there was also a case filed on behalf of a group of cadets at the Air Force Academy, most of whom identified themselves as atheists/agnostics or observant Jews, who claimed that the faculty and senior cadets forcibly proselytized them and harassed them for not being Christian. That shit is totally unacceptable.

I dont condone it , but I am saying we can have faith and worship as we feel without having to turn away from God.
He shouldnt have to pray , but it should not mean that others cannot pray aswell.

Well, writing "Turn away from God and see what happens, oh yes things can get worse." in response to an article about a soldier who was threatened because of his religious beliefs or rather lack thereof sure did make it seem like you do.

I didn't read anything in that article about Specialist Hall seeking to ban prayer in the armed forces. He just wants individuals to have the right to abstain from participation in group religious activities without being harassed, physically intimidated or denied promotions.

I guess the phrase "there are no atheists in foxholes" didn't apply to him..

he would be the guy getting mortared NOT screaming Jesus Christ.

As for the USAF Academy, I wouldn't doubt that happened. Our country is very Pro-Christian and many people would like to see that tradition continue. It's sad tho, because as bright and intelligent as students are "supposed" to be, that attend such a prestigious institution; they're still doing ignorant things like harass people who share different views on religion.

Shit people, look at what happened at the "thought" that Barack Obama was Muslim.

    seriously WTF people
