NEVER would have expected this from Ashton. I have so much more respect for him now.
Damn kicking that truth to the young American youth. Aside from the shameless plug for his failing movie I really liked it.
I don't think the audience was listening to all that Chris Ashton Kutcher was saying. They just wanted to be heard by him. But, this was the most honest message I have ever heard in a long time. Chris Ashton Kutcher spoke the truth and he spoke from the heart.
I gotta agree with Gorath. I doubt that he really got through to most of them. If that was my idol standing there, I would want to hear every single world he says and not interrupt or miss something because of screaming stupidly. If they were interested, there wouldn't be no crazy screaming but devotional silence. He probably reached those kids who already are most of what he was talking about. Pretty good speech though.
He appreciated the adoration of the fans, but he was also trying to tell them that he was just like them when he was growing up. He was not born a star. He had learned many lessons in his life. He found an opportunity and it propelled him to stardom. It was not easy on his journey. That is what the screaming masses missed.
