I have to agree with you Christine. I think this is one of the instances where the message gets lost due to the method of delivery. If it's merely attention she seeks, then she achieved that, but if she actually wants to convey a message, I suspect she would reach a broader audience had she chosen some other method. Art means different things to different people, and I would not impose my distaste for this on anyone else, I just feel she could have made that statement another way and appealed to more people. Perhaps her primary goal was to be shocking, in which case mission accomplished.
