ARE YOU INTO DREADLOCKED BLACK MEN

Lately i have realised something down hear,that black guys who are likely to go out with white women have dreadlocks,are white women attracted to men with deradlocks.Just the other day a white girl told me that she wanted to date a guy with them she didnt specify if he had to be black or white.If this is true then what do you find to be a turn about it

 

Well,
No less or more than any other hair-do. At the end of the day, it's about the whole package and not just hair.

A person's appearance always says something about your values - so dreadlocks or no dreadlocks will offer a message to people.

It depends what type of message you want to portray. Whatever it is - just be true to yourself!

(I have no preference. FWIW, I think short locks, nicely done look smart. Long dreadlocks give a different impression. I prefer nice, smart hair styles)

Hair, or lack there-of, has never been of much importance to me. As long as it's well-kept and clean, it's fine by me.

 

Dreads have long been a symbol of unconventionality & social awareness, but I wouldn't jump to conclusions based on hair. In terms of physical attractivenes, it doesn't really matter to me. Awareness does matter to me tho, regardless of the hairstyle...

 

I have never dated a dredded man. But I must say, dreds will catch my eye, just not hold it unless there is much more going on.

I guess it is my aquarian personality that the non-conformist and unconventional appeal to me.

 

I noticed some women either really liked them or really didn't.

Most women didn't like them though and after a while (it was my second time having them) I cut 'em off. So many women would tell me how much better I looked now from my 80 some yr old neighbor on down? So, I've gone back to short hair - just put a razor to it yesterday so now its shorter than this.

although you would probably rather hear..or see.. that from women on the boards

Ditto. I've never dated a man with dreads, mostly cause I don't find them attractive... but I would definitely make an exception for this guy:

he used to be on a TV show, I used to watch years ago..

 

His name is Keith Hamilton Cobb. He played Noah Keefer on All My Children back in the early 90's. His character left to join the Witness Protection program, as can only happen on a soap.

He is still fine but the dreds added something extra..

 

Noah & Julia. Now that's a blast from the past. He was on Andromeda too, I think. Anyway, however he chooses to wear his hair, he is a handsome man.
