I was not aware of this murder either. I just looked it up. How horrible!!! I'm so sorry for your family and especially your daughter. My heart goes out to the Burk family and all her classmates. Innocence shouldn't have to be lost at such a young age.

I just want to thank everyone for their input about this matter. I knew that the family here would be more than happy to share and discuss this. There will always be a part of me that will want people to know that I don't judge people by race, gender, class, etc. However, I'm not will to risk my safety or others to prove it to someone I don't know. I also feel better hearing some of the forum men say that they would have never put a female in this situation. It's just a really uncomfortable situation to be in. Thanks again to all. :smt058
