This topic has come up in various conversations and I wonder what others think about it. I'm a guy who's hyper-sensitive to smells in general so I have zero appreciation for colognes, perfumes or anything that imparts really strong non-natural odors to the body. I am not anti-deodorant, I just prefer a "clean and natural" smell. Let's face it, no man wants a woman who smells "fishy", yes I know women never really smell fishy. I'm also sure that no woman want to smell "musky balls", or maybe some do? My point is that I don't want my lady's vagina to smell "mountain fresh", "lavender" or like any other flower. There's something about unmasked pheromones that turns me on. Everywhere you look, at every product that comes in contact with the body, there's some company that makes something to add artificial smells. Consider the number of fragrances now available not just in colognes, perfumes and body powders, but detergents, anti-static products and even bleach. I mean BLEACH! Isn't bleach formulated for anti-bacterial use and clean smells already? I know that other cultures, while concerned about hygiene as well, seem to be less hung up on "smells". On one end of the scale are those who believe those who believe that baths are something to be taken once a week, like an East Indian lady who lived in the same apt. complex as I did many years ago. She would come down to my apt. to talk and I swear I had to raise all the windows when she left. During a conversation she revealed that she and her kids would go to the swimming pool once a week, no baths with soap, living in the south, in the summer, OMG! I can also recall the discomfort I felt on occasion when I flew internationally and realized that BO was rampant as I walked down the isles, or in business meetings in Italy. Obviously, most people don't fall into those categories. But, there are health consequences as well. Contact dermatitis is becoming more common as more chemicals are added to products. I recall my Spanish Ex's surprise when she saw the array of products dedicated to feminine hygiene. She said, "no wonder American women have itchy vaginas". What about the high costs for all these products in a time of economic distress, even extending to expensive household cleaning products? There was a time when bleach, baking soda, scouring pads and pine sol was all you needed. So, what are your thoughts?
Call me a bit of a nut hearkening back to my "roots", but a sense of smell and you having a keen sense of it is actually pretty adequate. You can tell if you're attracted to someone by someone's odor and if you can't tolerate it, the person and you cannot make the relationship work. But I think it's more of a universal issue to be frank whether if its people or an entire society.
I absolutely hear you on this. I am hypersensitive when it comes to strong artificial smells. I have used unscented soaps, anti-perspirants & hair spray for years. It can be difficult to find things that are truly "unscented". I exclusively use laundry detergent that is free of colors, dyes & perfumes and like to clean with baking soda & vinegar whenever possible. Never sprayed anything "flowery" near the lady bits, imo, that's just asking for trouble...
I am sorry but i like eating pussy so i like the woman's vajayjay to smell like mountain fresh and not the natural pheromones as you eruditely stated. You are not anti deodorant but like the natural scent of the human body? Ar e you aware the natural scent of an armpit stinks when you don't use anything there especially when its hairy? The natural scent of shit stinks that's why you need an air freshener in the loo .Anyway carry on.
Humm, okkkay, Mr. Mountain fresh, so be it. As I said, I'm NOT anti-deodorant, so I often use mineral salts or other more natural deodorants. I never said I didn't use anything, your assumption my friend. I'm quite aware that bacteria caused by perspiration can lead to odor, and that excess hair can trap that odor. It's quite common for both partners to have showers before engaging in intimacy. So, you can enjoy the natural scents without worrying about the effect of perspiration. Since my post related to my partner, and body smells, your response about armpit hair leads me to ask if the kind of women you prefer must use deodorant because of armpit hair?? On that topic though, for the same reason, I always shave my armpits as well. Most of the ladies I have been intimate with go brazillian or totally bare down under, and again those who don't usually shower before intimacy so it's no problem. I make sure that I keep all my body hair at a minimum as well, some women even like that too, see porn movies, lol. I'm not sure at all how the conversation turned to air freshener and poo??? I guess that matters if you are into coprophrygia. But, as you suggest, carry on....to each their own.
