This is what America sees: UNC student body president, beautiful talented girl, gunned down by African-American for her car, and shortly after, trying to use her debit card to get money from a bank. Beautiful Auburn student, murdered by African-American male, who attempted to rape her. Wonder why stories like this don't get posted in this forum often, or commented upon like others?
Re: Anyone want futher reasons why IR relations are strained firstly.. i don't know what america sees.. i can't speak for every american.. i'm not professor X secondly.. i didn't know she was killed by a black dude.. i guess it didn't matter that much, because we all know that all black guys aren't criminals....and we get a bit tired of hearing such stories just my 2 cents
Why are IR relations strained to be honest I don't even see it,like stated above if any one has any common sense know that one race does not have one stat locked down all people commit crime(people of other races also) lets be honest here a White person's life has more value than any other person of color so you will hear about that more than any thing else. I think that you should try and date other races also and not just focus on one you might sleep a bit better at night.
i think what blkcasanova was trying to point out is that even though these men were complete strangers to the two ww...the story is still about a ww and a bm...it does effect "IR" in a negative light and i will try once again to explain this to you guys...families of ww raise an eyebrow everytime something like this is in the media...they fear for their daughters lives just simply because the man she is dating is a bm...stereotype? absolutely but this is something that ww that date bm end up dealing with...she may look at her bm boyfriend as just a man...but her family sees her bf as a bm...
we've heard a lot about the two co-eds that were killed at UNC and Auburn...but we haven't heard nearly as much about this woman...... http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=3590598
Thats the point I was trying to get across, if those folks was black that did that we would never hear the end of it.
that story sickens me...i did read about it when they first found her but there hasn't been much press since then...these kind of backassward rednecks living in remote areas are beyond crazy...i hope they spend a good long time in prison for torturing her...
