I'll respond a bit. Thanks for your input on this. Again, don't think I'm pushing for one side, just more for equality than anything and we all have to fight for that.

You have brought up some interesting points, but the point of Deism is that a Force or Prime Mover (not necessarily a god) is that it only creates the space, time, and atmospheres around us, and in return allow the creations to evolve on their own means. It wouldn't give two shits about being acknowledged or worshiped. That's the beauty of that philosophical thought.

Plus, in many respects, we, as humans, in this world, ARE the highest form of being simply because we possess a quality no other animal possesses - sapience. Through that sapience, we've constructed limitless concepts and most, which are put into practice. All creatures provide a role, but as the critical thinking creatures we are, we have the ability to advance civilizations (or diminish them) through our sapience.

Also, you're making overgeneralizations about a more secular world around us which are...no offense, crazy. Secularism have always been about finding answers through what we know and despite the limited knowledge we possess, we're capable of seeking answers which can be grounded into rational and empirical experimentation. Thus, the more we learn, the less significant outdated ideas (i.e. religion, god) becomes. That's just that natural progress. The supernatural ideas still serve a role to our fellow man, all for individualistic reasons, but all in all, it's mere comfort food and a personal creation for the person.

hi, yes i am a traditionalist and fundamentalist in my conservative christian faith and practice. I am not irritated though about the secular society as I know it was prophesied to happen in the word of God. Mens hearts have always been dark due to sin, it just has become ever more present. It means that we will soon see Christ and it means we should be more diligent in our walk and testimony and seek to follow the great commission to take the gospel to everyone, so all many have the opportunity to know and trust in the Lord.

    great question and topic!:p

People don't want to be judged, but they over judge everyone else. This is all hypocrisy. The last days and times mos definitely. I'm not super religious, but I don't support feminism, the pharmaceutical industry, drugs, sexploitation, or any other poison that has destroyed families. Nowadays, women hate men, men want to be women, women want to be men, God is forgotten... I don't over judge anyone, but I do have my opinions which are strong and may come off as judgement to someone who doesn't really know me.
