Check out the pool of blood on the ground after the beating he put on this woman.
What the hell kind of man does that to a woman? Especially when he has the advantage of size, handcuffs and other police officers surrounding him to assist him. That is so disgusting.
I agree it seems suspect that whatever happened occurred when the camera was off, but she could actually have received the injuries by falling. Looking at the photo I know that seems like a lot of damage from one fall, but if she literally fell flat on her face, or hit something like a table on the way down, it's possible. Almost anytime you break someone's nose it blacks both eyes, so most of her facial bruising and swelling is likely the result of that. And while that seems like a lot of blood, broken noses and lost teeth actually bleed a lot more than you'd think. Based on the video I wouldn't be comfortable concluding that he beat her. She was being inappropriately combative throughout, and if she wasn't drinking then something was wrong with her because when you're handcuffed in a police station it's really unwise to be aggressive and try to leave without permission. Now given that she was behaving like that, he really should have left the camera on even though he'd already read her rights to her. I would think a well trained police officer would have expected her to continue to resist and give him trouble, and so would have left the camera on just in case.
I agree. He should have called a second officer before she wound up on the floor in a pool of blood. Funny how she is healthy when he turns off the camera, then beaten to a pulp when it comes back on. And I disagree it could have been caused by one fall. How do you get the huge gash on the center of your forehead and break teeth? Your nose would make it impossible to do both with one fall. Now several blows to the face and it can be accomplished.
That's what I don't understand. Why would a trained police officer, who has previously dealt with evidence and understands the law shut off the camera? If I were him, if I was doing my job correctly, I would want the camera on at all times to save myself from a situation which he is currently in.
Exactly! When I was little I fell flat on my face in a bed of rocks mind you and I barely had a bloody nose. There is no way one hard fall could do that to her.
Sorry gotta disagree with both y'all. If she fell flat on her face perhaps not, but if she hit a table or some other object she could have gotten the gash, the missing teeth and the broken nose. I've witnessed a lot of fights, and I've seen a lot of drunks in bars, and you'd be surprised how much damage can occur when someone's in a 'free-fall' and hits something. In fact, smashing into a door frame just right might cause all 3. Not trying to argue, and I'm still not convinced someone didn't beat her, but I think she could have gotten that from a fall depending on how she fell and what she impacted on the way down. And I agree Fly, the officer should have left the camera on and he could have saved his job if indeed she did fall. Now people will always question what happened, and if it was me and I knew I didn't beat her, that'd really bug me.
Yeah I get that but I guess then I would have to say to myself: "Why did I turn that damn camera off?" lol
I gotta go with Espy on this. I am the first one to point out bs when I see it but the one question that comes to mind for me is if his intent were to hurt her or it happened by accident as a result of my action. Why not clean up the blood and clean her up and then turn the camera on. Why allow everyone to see your crime and have any question about ir on tape. The lawyer at the end said he complies with police procedure by turning the camera off so from this video I think he didn't do anything criminal.
The problem with that is that where the pool of blood is and no traces around - there are no objects around she could have hit. It all comes down to the camera being turned off.. ist suspicious as hell.
I can see how that looks suspicious, but I'm just saying maybe she bounced off something and then landed on the floor, or maybe she feel flat on her face. With hands cuffed behind her, she wouldn't be able to cushion the fall and the floor is likely concrete under the vinyl tile, so it would be a very abrupt landing. Not to mention, the cops hands don't have blood on them and I've never known someone to punch another person three or four times, making them bleed with each swing, and not get blood on them. And finally, when you've been drinking I believe you bleed more readily and facial injuries bleed a lot more than you'd think anyway, so the blood pool isn't really that surprising. Like I said before, I'm not saying he didn't beat her, but it's not conclusive to me that he did either.
that is true, ther is no direct evidence and she could have bounced far:smt033 The injuries are a bit weird for that though with black eyes on both sides.. and the teeth and no injury on her nose? The more I think of it, it doenst match either scenario alone.. haha like I am some freaking crime scene investigator.. what do I know. Could it be a combo of both? he gave her a punch and she bounce off somehting??? he was stoopid for turning the camera off if he didnt touch her, no whe just raised suspisions.
No one knows but the two of them. But speaking from experience, when my nose was broken, it didn't bruise, it did swell a bit and pink up. but really no one would have known it was broken if I didn't say anything. But it did bleed like hell. But her black eyes are what gives it away, breaking the nose almost always blacks both the eyes, not always, but I've only seen a couple times when it didn't. I agree it's curious all the way around.
